SITES - [Link to Map]
  • National Volleyball Center, Century High School & Rochester Community College Field House-(listed as Regional Recreation Sports Center on map).[
  • There will be a coaches and officials meeting at 7:30AM.
  • Please check in with Darla Heikes, the site director for this tournament, prior to the meeting.
  • In case of an emergency the headquarters number is 507-529-4199.
  • UNIFORM:
    • White Polo Shirt
    • Navy DRESS pants or shorts
    • White shoes and socks
PAYMENT
  • Payment amount is: $22 per match.
  • All matches will be the best 2 of 3 rally score games, except in playoffs were only one 25 point rally game will be played for third place. The first two games will be to 25 points, no cap win by two. The third game, if required, will be a game to 15, no cap win by two points. Teams will switch courts in the third game when one team has scored 8 points.
  • If there is a discrepency between the number of matches posted on the schedule and the number you actually officiated please let Shauna know ASAP via e-mail or call 952-445-4728.
REFFING TEAMS
  • Since we furnish only first referees, you will be working with different teams who will provide the 2nd referee (THE COACH IS RECOMMENDED), scorer and line judges.
  • Meet with them and instruct them on what you expect.
  • If they need to be reinstructed, feel free to do so.
  • Be sure to compliment a job well done.
WARM-UPS

The 8:00 am and 9:00am matches will have a 10 minute warm-up period. The four matches after that will have a 5 minute warm-up period. The second wave beginning at 3:00 pm will have a 10 minute warm-up as well as the 4:00 match. The last two matches of the day will be a 5 minute warm-up. Every match on Sunday will have a 10 minute warm-up period.

During a 10 minute warm-up time the serving team will have the court for the first 5 minutes for hitting, passing, and serving. The receiving team will have the second 5 minutes.

During a 5 minute warm-up time, both teams will share the court, hitting from the left side and middle only.

The lowest seed team will call the coin toss for the first game and if necessary the highest seed will call the toss for the third game.

HOTELS
Hotel rooms are being provided for the out of town officials. Information will be e-mailed directly to those officials.
