SATURDAY SCHEDULE

2024 Payment Schedule & Lodging Options
Normal 2 out of 3 matches are $45
Mandatory 3 set matches are $60
Officials traveling on a tiered mileage scale will receive a weighted travel stipend to assist with costs of fuel and lodging.
Officials have the option of using the tournament hotel blocks to reserve a room at a discounted rate or may make your own arrangements. Officials will be responsible for securing your own lodging and covering those costs.
Per the Independent Contractor Agreement, matches worked between the 16th and the end of the month are to be paid by the 15th of the following month.

Click this link to access the governing rules and guides for the rule set used at the NorthStar Presidents Day Challenge. The "Abridged USAV Rulebook" is much easier to read than the unabridged version. Please download a copy and have it with you on your phone/tablet during the event.
Modified Scoresheet
The matches on SUNDAY that do not have a work team (check the Team Schedule & you'll see "NO WORK TEAM" listed) will use a simplified scoresheet developed by MVOA. The video here covers the usage of this sheet.
Tell the playing captains at the coin toss to help you by bringing the scoresheets back/forth from the stand to their coaches so you do not need to go up/down the stand during the match.
NOTE: at the bottom of the scoresheet there is a space to put the Court #, Match Time, and winning/losing teams. ENSURE THESE BOXES ARE FILLED IN SO THAT THE SITE DIRECTOR CAN RECORD SCORES CORRECTLY.
If nothing else, please ensure the score is properly noted on the sheets at the end of the match.

Assignments & Required Paperwork
Your application is NOT a guarantee of assignment.
YOU are responsible for ensuring you have submitted all the required paperwork listed on our Independent Contractor page. Assignments and payments are contingent on the completion of these requirements.
If we do not have a current SafeSport/Abuse Prevention training certificate on file, you would have received an email from Robyn containing instructions on how to obtain this certification. This training is REQUIRED to work juniors event.
Selected officials will be offered assignments through ArbiterSports. You may check the status of assignment by reviewing your SCHEDULE tab in Arbiter.
Actual court assignments are sent via email usually the Tuesday prior to the event. Please confirm with a reply to that email indicating you are "Good to Go" after reviewing your schedule. Final schedules are sent via email the Friday before the event.
