2022 Tournament Procedures & Modified Scoresheet Video Instructions
Tournament Procedures
Modified Scoresheet
Because of the 3 match wave format that is being used at the NorthStar President's Day Challenge, there will not be work teams assigned for any match. We will again be using the simplified scoresheet developed by MVOA last year for this event. Please watch the video for instructions on the usage of this sheet.
Use the playing captains to bring scoresheets back/forth from their coaches so you do not need to go up/down the stand during the match.
NOTE: at the bottom of the scoresheet there is a space to put the Court #, Match Time, and winning/losing teams. FILL IN THESE BOXES AT THE START OF THE MATCH SO THAT THE SITE DIRECTOR CAN RECORD SCORES CORRECTLY.

2022 Payment Schedule
Normal 2 out of 3 matches are $40
Mandatory 3 set matches are $60
Forfeited matches that are the official's last match of the wave/bracket-play AND do not require the official to perform the forfeit procedure will not be included in final match counts for payment.
Per the Independent Contractor Agreement, matches worked between the 1st & 15th are to be paid by the last day of the same month.
COVID Protocols
From the Event: Due to the requirements of the cities, counties, and facilities hosting the event, ALL individuals that are not on the court competing, or warming up, must be wearing a properly fitting mask at all times; this includes coaches and athletes on the sideline during matches AND all spectators at all times.
While on the ref stand, officials have the option of removing their mask. At ALL other times while inside a facility, those who are not 'actively participating' in the match are to follow the MDH/CDC/Governor's applicable order. Currently, that would require masking at all other times within the facility (exception for consuming food/beverage).
