Your 25-26 MSHSL Volleyball Officials Registration covers both the fall girls and the spring boys season.
Metro Volleyball is proud to have supported the MN Boys High School Volleyball Association since their inaugural season! Boys high school volleyball has now completed the transition to a fully sanctioned MSHSL activity starting with the Spring 2025 season.
To Krista, Jenny, Walt & all the leadership/support team at MN Boys, we congratulate you on a job well done and look forward to continuing to support boys volleyball with the MSHSL.
The Fall Parks & Rec season begins in late Sept/early Oct. Whether you're looking to be a sub or would like to be a regular for a league, we'd love to hear from you!
The 2025-26 Parks & Rec Application goes live each year on August 1st and is linked on each of the league pages found under the Parks & Rec drop-down menu.
Applicants should be able to fully comply with all guidance and requirements of the leagues including league rules, procedures, and score reporting.
We start assigning for the Fall Season starting in June. You may register with the MSHSL at any time, but we STRONGLY recommend registering AFTER April 1. Late fees start July 1. Remember to select Metro Volleyball as either your Primary or Secondary associations on their registration form.

There is an urgent need for volleyball officials in our area. We need more people to step up and take on the challenge of making sure our game is fairly played, well-managed, and a safe environment for all participants.
If you love volleyball, you will have the best seat in the house as an official. Officiating will teach you how to see our game in a whole new light – one that emphasizes fairness, integrity, decisiveness and sound judgement. No matter what you may do for your "day job", get ready to challenge yourself and start one of the most rewarding careers you’ll ever have by saying "Yes" to officiating!
We hope you'll join us starting in January for the 2026 season! MVOA assigns weekend Girls Juniors/Club Tournaments from January through mid-May. Events are posted on our Juniors tab found at the top of this page. There is a link to the Application, details for all events, and a Google calendar that gives you the timeline of events.
Applicants should be able to fully comply with all eligibility guidelines that are required to officiate events involving minors. Information regarding your options to fulfill these eligibility requirements is listed on our Independent Contractors page. Each season, the application goes live in October and is required for everyone interested in being activated for juniors/club events in Arbiter. You will provide your availability for each weekend in Arbiter using the BLOCKS tab. If you're not blocked, you're indicating that you are available. Additionally, select events can be found on the SCHEDULE>Self-Assign tab for you to indicate your availability for a specific event.
We've posted some uniform guidelines for Metro-assigned events. Please review them on the Uniforms page.
